The Volusia County School Board selects Dr. Ronald “Scott” Fritz as the new Superintendent of Volusia County Schools pending successful contract negotiations.
The board considered three finalists including,Dr. Ronald “Scott” Fritz, currently Chief of Staff for Teaching, Leading, and Learning for Osceola County Schools , Dr. Peter Licata, currently Regional Superintendent for Palm Beach County Schools, and Dr. David Moore, currently Assistant Superintendent in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
The Volusia County School Board will now enter into contract negotiations with Dr. Fritz and work on a final contract which will be approved at a future school board meeting.
