City of Ormond Beach Annual Fourth of July Fireworks and Celebration

Posted in: Fourth of July, Ormond Beach

The City of Ormond Beach will host their annual celebration of Independence Day on July 4, 2019 in City Hall Plaza & Rockefeller Gardens. There will be music, food, games, an amazing zone for kids, and so much more. Come out and celebrate with the City of Ormond!

There’s no place better to celebrate our nation’s 241 years of freedom than beside the beautiful Halifax River in Ormond Beach. Citizens and visitors can enjoy entertainment and fun-filled activities with no admission fee at Ormond Beach’s Annual Independence Day Celebration.

Entertainment will stretch from City Hall Plaza across the Granada Bridge to Rockefeller Gardens with music from “Pilotwave” and “Not Brothers Band.”

THE VOLUSIA MOM TIP

The kids’ zone will be in Rockefeller Gardens (North Lawn) from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Activities include a moon walk, an obstacle course, a giant slide, and more! Returning this year will be a photo booth, balloon artist, and a stilt walker.

Food vendors include Greg’s BBQ, Papa John’s Pizza, Kona Ice, Joe’s Lemonade, Mrs. V’s Hawaiian Ice, Holy Cow Kettle Corn & Sweet Nuts, and Schmancy Pops.

The finale of this celebration will consist of one of the area’s best fireworks displays! Fireworks by Santore begin the show promptly at 9:30 p.m. on the Halifax River just south of the Granada Bridge. This is the 20th year the event has been held on the corners of the Granada Bridge and it now attracts visitors from other states.

Please understand that following the fireworks display, traffic will be heavy and you will experience congestion for at least fifteen minutes and we encourage you to be patient.

We would also like to remind you that this is an alcohol free event and personal fireworks are prohibited. This is a celebration you don’t want to miss!
