Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

Food Drops/Meets—VCan2020 regularly meets clients to deliver food to families and youth under 25 in need. If you can assist with these deliveries, please contact Barbara Scott, VCan2020 Director, at 386.999.1888 or email her at Barbara@VCan2020.org.

HUM Food Bag Deliveries—FBH is working with HUM (Halifax Urban Ministries) to deliver food bags to families who receive these bags on a weekly basis while school is in session. FBH is in need of volunteers willing to deliver these bags to a local drop off location or deliver to families’ porches. If you are able to assist, please call Diane Smith, FBH Program Coordinator, at 386.843-1161 or email her at Diane@FoodBringsHope.org.

Second Harvest—FBH & VCan2020 make a weekly pick up at Second Harvest to fill their pantries. We need volunteers, specifically those with trucks, willing to assist with the pick up at Second Harvest and delivery to the Pierson Pantry and the pantry at Hope House. If you are able to assist, please call Mamie Oatis, Community Grants and Operations Director at 386.212.0604 or email her at Mamie@FoodBringsHope.org.
