Posted in: Daytona Beach, Easter, Events, Ormond Beach, Port Orange

Super excited to launch this new endeavor in the Volusia County area! The Volusia Mom will be a consistent source of information that you can use as a parent in the Volusia County area. A promise of no drama, no politics, only local resources that better us as parents, as families and as members of this great community! Anything in particular you would like to see? Please let me know thevolusiamom@gmail.com! Thank you for your patience as we temporarily host our site on Little Blog Dress, our website is getting its final touches but we didn’t want to wait! Off to our first official post!

Easter is such a special time! It is the promise of warmer weather and the Spring season. White pants, Easter Ham and Lasagna, religious traditions and the Easter Bunny makes it for a great time for our families!

Here is a sampling of Easter events in the Volusia County area:

Easter Basket Ideas

Let Molto Bella Boutique Bunnify Your Easter Basket! Not only do they have amazing Jellycat stuffed friends which make the perfect basket accompaniment but also candy, books and more! The talented ladies at Molto Bella Boutique will make the basket for you, one less thing for you to do. Molto Bella is located on Nova Road in Ormond Beach in the same plaza as Greektown Taverna just south of the Trails Shopping Center.

When I first became a parent there was a no monogram rule! This has since been lifted! I used painter’s canvas to make the liner, an insane amount of hot glue and a trip to Daytona Embroidery in the Volusia Mall who has been nice enough to make some of my 3am insomnia filled visions come to reality! They are right outside Kay’s jewelers.

Salty Church Sunrise Service

A gorgeous way to celebrate and worship is Salty Church’s sunrise service. I am super bummed that it will be a couple of years before we can enjoy this experience again. Technically I know we can bring a toddler, but I would you to also to enjoy your Easter experience. There is something very ethereal about celebrating this day at dawn no matter what the religion. Their website is here.

Here is a list of last year’s services that may be of use when planning where to go this Easter Sunday in Volusia County.
