Welcome to Mainland High School – home of the mighty Buccaneers! Mainland High School is a place that has been accredited as an institution of excellence for over 100 years; a place that embraces tradition, exudes pride, and inspires those who pass through its doors to explore, experience, and ultimately become empowered to excellence. Just as the world has changed and evolved into this 21st century global society, so too, has Mainland High School reinvented itself to remain viable to meet the needs of each student.

Today, Mainland High School is proud of the corporate structure of wall-to-wall academies created to prepare each student for any postsecondary pathway. This structure divides the school into three branches of broad study – Mind, Body, Spirit; At Your Service; and, High Tech High. Each branch of study supports three individual academies that serve the diverse interests, not only of students, but of business and community partners as well.

Represented within each one of the nine academies are divisions that focus on specific areas of study and provide the opportunity for all students to earn industry certifications, academic scholarships and a foundation for lifelong learning.
