Atlantic High School offers a unique wall-to-wall career academy environment. That is, every student gets to participate in one of nine career academies. Students benefit from career-focused, project-based learning that prepares them for the highly competitive world.

Atlantic High School offers students a multitude of other advantages such as advanced placement (AP), honors-level courses, the Superintendent Scholar Diploma, Career and Technical Education (CTE), and the Commit to Graduate (C2G) program.

Atlantic High School has also formed a close partnership with Daytona State College, Bethune-Cookman University, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and supports students who wish to pursue dual enrollment opportunities. Atlantic High School encourages involvement in athletics and extracurricular programs as a balance and supplement to academic study. Atlantic High School is committed to ensuring the academic and career success of its students both in the classroom and as contributing members of the community.

ACADEMY OF LAW AND GOVERNMENT –Gold Level Academy
The Academy focuses on careers in the areas of law, government and public service. The Academy provides curriculum and internship experiences for students who aspire to be lawyers, politicians, police officers, forensic scientists, crime lab technicians, and other law and government related fields.

AQUACULTURE, ENVIRONMENTAL, AND MARINE SCIENCE ACADEMY
The Academy provides training crucial to Florida’s unique environment and prepares students to preserve and protect the earth by working in careers related to aquaculture and environmental services. Students are immersed in ecologically significant projects such as water quality testing, marine life sampling, and invasive species eradication.

ON STAGE: PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY
The Academy aims to inspire and enrich student creativity through an innovative performing arts curriculum. Career focus in the technical and performance aspects of theatre, band, chorus, and dance connects students to arts and communications-related careers. Performing arts students perform with the All-State Chorus, Disney Candlelight, Surfscape Contemporary Dance Theatre, Fringe Festival, Florida State Thespians and earn superior ratings in Chorus, Band, Dance and Drama county and state assessments.

TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, SCIENCE, AND AERONAUTICS ACADEMY
The Academy, in partnership with Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU), prepares students to fy unmanned vehicles, airplanes, and introduces them to various aerospace careers. Building airplanes and small UAV’s; and studying weather and aerodynamics are a few of
the opportunities of this exciting new academy. Students have the opportunity to earn concurrent college credit.

DIGITAL VIDEO ACADEMY
The Academy prepares students for careers in the video production industry. Students work with producers and directors who create real TV shows, movies and web series. Academy learning energizes and enhances students’ original thinking and creativity through the use of state-of-the-art equipment and hands-on, HD video production.

ACADEMY OF MARKETING AND PROMOTION
The Academy is designed to prepare students for employment and advanced training in the marketing and sales industry. Students develop hands-on skills in advertising, sales, event management, and entrepreneurship through school-based enterprises.

ACADEMY OF DIGITAL AUDIO RECORDING TECHNOLOGY
The Academy enhances students’ skills as musicians, either instrumentally or vocally, through the exploration of studio recording techniques that are used throughout the world. Partnerships with BCU and DSC provide students with hands-on experiences in the recording arts.

The Academy explores the video game industry and the skills needed to become successful in this highly competitive industry. Working with the latest technologies, students encounter the fast-paced
