Summer Kindergarten Readiness Program Offered For Volusia County PreK Students

Volusia County Schools has partnered with nonprofit agency, Waterford, to provide free at-home learning for students who are entering Kindergarten next year.

Waterford’s UPSTART is an in-home kindergarten readiness program that gives your child a fun start in reading, math, and science (with a focus on reading) in just 25 minutes a day, 5 days a week.

Waterford’s UPSTART is being offered free of charge to Volusia Students

The program runs from now through August 31st, 2020.

Upstart will be offered this summer to PreK students who will enter Kindergarten next year

Families will be able to use free internet, a free device to use during the program, and a support coach for the duration of the program. Upon the completion of the program, Waterford will be in contact with parents regarding the​ return of the devices, and internet service.
