Meet the coach!
Hometown alum, Nick Wallery, graduated Deland high school in 2000. He was named Basketball Player of The Year and went on to play for the Albany State Rams, where he also received a degree in Criminal Justice. Wallery is a three-time Conference Player of the year.
His post graduate career includes a professional run in the European basketball league, a stint in South America, and then rounding out his 13 year professional career back home in the ABA with the Jacksonville Giants.
Wallery can now be found working as an athletic trainer; motivating and encouraging young male and female athletes of all ages.
