T. DeWitt Taylor Middle/High School is located in Pierson and serves approximately 1,150 students. Taylor Middle/High School continues to maintain the characteristics that make it unique – a caring small school environment where administration, teachers, counselors, students, and parents work together to ensure student success. The curriculum at the school is based upon a commitment to students’ intellectual, social, and physical development as well as to the needs and interests of students with all abilities and cultural backgrounds. CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES
CTE programs prepare secondary students with technical,academic and employability skills for success in the workplace and in further education. CTE programs may provide post-secondary dual enrollment, industry certification and work-based learning opportunities. The School offers the following CTE programs: Agritechnology; Allied Health Assisting; Animal Science and Services; Carpentry; Digital Media/Multimedia Design; and Web Development.
