County to host COVID-19 panel discussion Friday on children’s issues and resources
Whether it’s keeping them healthy, helping them maintain good hygiene habits or stimulating their minds, the COVID-19 emergency is affecting children in a variety of ways. This Friday, May 15, Volusia County will host a live panel discussion addressing issues related to helping children cope in the age of coronavirus. Friday’s event will start at 10 a.m. Panelists will include the following:
DJ Lebo, CEO, Early Learning Coalition of Flagler & Volusia
Dr. Andria Klioze, president of the Volusia County Medical Society
Dedra Roman, assistant regional librarian, Volusia County Library Services
Friday’s panel discussion will be broadcast live on Volusia County Emergency Management’s Facebook page. The news media is welcome to attend and participate in the question-and-answer session.
For members of the news media who wish to attend, the event will take place at the Volusia County Emergency Operations Center, 3825 Tiger Bay Road, Daytona Beach.
