In the great generous spirit of our community’s Adopt a Senior and Fifth Graders, The Volusia Mom is sponsoring an Adopt a VCS Teacher. Our teachers love their students, have quickly adjusted to this new learning and could use a little love!
How To Nominate A Teacher
TEACHERS
If you are a teacher, please create a post to be Adopted in the Adopt a Volusia County Schools Teacher- Teacher Appreciation 2020 Facebook Group. Include a little about yourself, your school (include photos!) and fill out the attached sheet so your students, their parents and our community can show you some love!!! If you have an Amazon Wish List that is full of things FOR you, not for your classroom, please share that as well!

Sorry, we just don’t have the bandwidth to manage these posts along with all the others. But please shop local when you can!
How to hook up with your teacher?
Adoptees can hook up with their Adopters to find the most convenient way to connect. If you choose a teacher, you contact them personally and you can arrange it with them. Most are either dropping off their their school, or planning a neutral location. I’ve seen some ok with a front door drop off, depends on the comfort level of the parties involved!

Please don’t nominate or move on. This is community motivated and we need to know. If you could help facilitate by tagging the teacher let us know what he or she likes, etc.
If your teacher does not have social media, that is okay! Help “foster” your adoptee by getting his or her information and posting on her behalf! Thank you Thank you! for everything!
