Youths can develop a lifelong love of reading with free programs at
Hope Place Public Library, 1310 Wright St., Daytona Beach.
Ongoing programs include:
· Little Readers Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays. Children from 14
months to age 5 can enjoy storybooks, magnetic stories, music and more.
· Kindergarten Readiness: 11:15 a.m. Tuesdays. Children from ages
3 to 5 can participate in activity stations that will help build
kindergarten skills.
· STREAM – Tinker Lab: 4 p.m. Tuesdays. Children ages 5 to 11
can try activities and crafts based on science, technology, reading,
engineering, art and math.
· Baby Tales: 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays. Children up to 14 months can
enjoy books, music, puppets and interactions with their caregivers.
· STREAM – Teen MakerLab Club: 4 p.m. Wednesdays. Youths ages 11
to 18 can take part in craft and activity programs based on science,
technology, reading, engineering, art and math.
· Family Fun: 4 p.m. Thursdays. Kids and their families can have
fun with activities and crafts.
· Twilight Tales: 5:30 p.m. on the second and third Thursdays of
each month. Children from 14 months to age 5 can enjoy books, music,
magnetic stories and kindergarten readiness stations.
Registration is required only for the Tinker Lab and Teen MakerLab

The library is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 9
a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
