At it’s board meeting on Tuesday, the Volusia County School Board selected Timothy Egnor as interim Superintendent of Volusia County Schools.
Egnor most recently served as the Director of Secondary Curriculum for St. Johns County Schools, Florida from 12/20/18 – 5/22/19.
Mr. Egnor is a former teacher, assistant principal, district administrator and, for 12 years, the principal of Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange. He graduated, Magna Cum Laude, from Stetson University with a Bachelor of the Arts in Social Science Education in 1980 as well as obtaining his Certification in Administration from Stetson in 1986.
The Volusia County School Board is expected to approve Egnor’s contract at its meeting on June 25th.
