The interactive splash pad at Sun Splash Park, 611 S. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach, is open after major upgrades.
The 3,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art splash pad features 42 water jets shooting water 4 to 6 feet in the air from a decorative play surface overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Water is sanitized and pH balanced to maintain clean, safe fun. The splash pad is open daily from 8 a.m. to sunset from March 1 through Nov. 30.
The public interactive water feature at Sun Splash Park was updated after 17 years of recreational service to the residents and visitors of Volusia County. The update will result in reduced water use, improved efficiency, and lower operating and maintenance costs.
