On Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 5 PM – 7 PM at the Tommy Lawrence Arena At Volusia County Fairgrounds in DeLand, Florida, Volusia County Schools will host their 14th Annual Volusia County Schools Career and Technical Education (CTE) High School Showcase.
The Showcase is an excellent opportunity for 8th grade middle school students and their parents to learn about the outstanding programs and career academies available to high school students in Volusia County Schools.
You and your student are invited you to visit career academies and other programs offered by our area’s high schools.

The High School Showcase highlights the many educational choices and programs that are tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. Parents are encouraged to explore the offerings available at each of our high schools and become actively involved in selecting the programs and/or academies that match the interests, needs and abilities of their children.
The Volusia County School systems wants our students to have a positive high school experience and are dedicated to creating an educational environment that responds to student career interests, celebrates cultural and ethnic diversity and fosters student academic achievement. Further, as a part of the CTE (Career and Technical Education) program, they are committed to our students graduating ready for both the workforce and post-secondary education.
